At Home Raised Parrots, the health and happiness of our parrots is our top priority. In the event of changing circumstances,we offer a fair and transparent refund policy:
Deposit Refund:
Should you choose to cancel your parrot reservation within one week of placing the deposit, we will issue an 80% refund.Following this period, the deposit will be considered non-refundable.
Full Payment Refund:
For fully paid parrots, a 70% refund is available if an avian veterinarian certifies a health issue within 30 days of adoption.The issue must be a condition not disclosed in the adoption contract, and a veterinary certificate is required. Refunds are not granted for previously disclosed conditions or personal circumstance changes.
Pricing Policy – Home Raised Parrots
At Home Raised Parrots, each parrot is priced individually, reflecting their unique traits. Even birds from the same clutch can vary in price due to differences in personality, appearance, or behavior. For example, we’ve had parrots priced from aslow as $400 to as high as $1,000, even within the same clutch.The photos and prices on our website provide a general overview, but we encourage you to contact us directly for the most up-to-date details on current and upcoming parrots.
Health Policy – Home Raised Parrots
We are deeply committed to the health and well-being of every parrot we raise. Each parrot comes with a one-year health guarantee against genetic defects, beginning on the date of adoption. Some parrots, depending on their lineage, may come with extended health guarantees of up to 2 or 3 years.Every parrot is accompanied by a full health record, and for select birds, pedigree documentation is available. For additional peace of mind, we offer microchipping and registration services at an extra cost, ensuring your parrot’s safety. To promote healthy growth, we recommend waiting until after six months of age before considering any neutering or wing-clipping,as early intervention may affect their development.Each adoption package includes everything your parrot needs for a smooth transition, such as food samples, a care manual, toys, and other essentials. Each crate includes adequate food and water to keep your parrot nourished and hydrated during their journey. Whenever possible, we schedule direct flights to minimize travel time and reduce stress.
Weather Considerations:
We closely monitor weather conditions to ensure safe travel. In the event of adverse conditions at either the departure or arrival locations, we will reschedule the shipment to protect your parrot’s health. Your parrot’s safety is always our top priority.

Payment Methods:
We accept payments through secure channels, including bank transfers,ChimeZelle,Venmo,ApplePay, and Cryptocurrency. Payments are only requested after the transfer of ownership document and sales contract have been drafted. This process ensures you are protected and can reach us with any questions or concerns.
